A Moon Lodge Gathering is a dedicated time for women of all ages to step out of a kind of world that keeps us occupied. Inside the peaceful white of the Moon Lodge, underneath the Busy, we give ourselves time to remember who we are at our very core. Within the soft dreams of the billowing White, we honor our own unique journeys of womanhood. It is a time, too, to honor life's sacred transitions, whether it be a daughter stepping into womanhood with her first moon-flow, or a marriage, pregnancy, birth, divorce, menopause, eldership, and all of the miraculous moments of a woman's life that we so often share. Like the moon, we mirror for each other the light that we are, and the love that weaves us all together. With its roots in the indigenous people of the Americas, the Moon Lodge is also a place where women co-create a shared vision of the world in which they wish to live. In the quiet, we can speak to Mother Earth and receive her guidance for how to nurture and support our planet in this time of need. It is a place for us as women to come alive. It is more than a woman’s circle; the Moon Lodge is a deep learning process of unlearning the busy, of renewal, and of finding the peace that is born in Sisterhood and in the present moment. Bring a mug for tea, a journal, a book, your knitting, a sketchbook, or any quiet activity that's calling to you...or just come as the beautiful Sister that you are!
