According to the ancient yogis, each planet has its own being, consciousness and unique teaching. All the planets function as doorways to our spiritual evolution. While some planets are more helpful and ease our path in life, others make it more challenging. As we tune our awareness to these planetary energies both around and within us, we can create a state of harmony in our life and consciousness. This Fall, we will explore the energy of the planets and celestial bodies and discover how they dance within our own bodies. Much like a yogic journey through the Chakras, we will travel through "the Cosmos," exploring the Star Goddesses, the Navagraha (the Nine planets of Jyotish), the days of the week associated with each, and the appropriate colors for those days. According to ruling planets, there are even days that are considered to be more appropriate for certain activities, foods, and practices. There is so much to discover in this unique yoga practice! Join us for a deep and unforgettable yogic journey that is truly out of this world! Our nature and Divine Feminine-based yoga classes are full of philosophy, mythology, postures, breath work, and restful meditations. We welcome students of all levels; whether you have never stepped on the mat before or are a life-long practitioner, we invite you to be right where you are, to explore the possibilities, to honor your limitations, to celebrate YOU in all ways.
